Castello Dominican Missionaries

A Dynamic Religious Community that believes in Jesus, a community that loves God and People

The founding of the Castello Dominican Missionaries for the Deaf and Disabled Apostolates has been largely a labor of love for our founder, Fr. Tom Coughlin. In 1977, Fr. Coughlin was the first deaf priest to be ordained in the United States. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to create opportunities for the deaf community within the Catholic Church.

The Castello Dominican Missionaries are dedicated to serving God and His deaf and disabled people
